There are several ways to reach Samos Island:

Ferry

The island has two major ferry ports: Karlovassi and Vathy.

Daily ferry connects Samos to the harbour of Piraeus. Ferries link the island with Dodecanese and Cyclades, and with the other Northeastern Aegean islands. During summertime, there is daily connection to Kusadasi.

Airport

Flights are connecting Samos with a variety of domestic destinations, including Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes and Iraklio. During summer many scheduled and charter flights operate from Samos International Airport  “Aristarchos” to all over Europe (Balkans, Scandinavia, East and West).

Bus

There are good road connection on whole island, buses timetable is regular and public bus service on Samos is on a high level (good bus service which serves various villages and beaches until 8 pm).

Car

The offices exist in almost every corner of the island. The main ones have their offices at the airport.

Boat

There are daily excursion boats from Karlovassi to Megalo Seitani which is the best beach on the island.

Taxi

Taxi’s operate throughout the island.
